Ingredients:
-
1 tsp. yeast
-
1 tsp. sugar
-
1 ¼ cups water
-
2 ½ cups flour
-
1/2 tsp Watkins Rosemary
-
1/2 tsp Watkins Thyme
-
1 tsp Watkins Garlic Powder
-
½ tbsp. kosher salt
-
2 tbsp. olive oil, plus more for greasing and drizzle
Instructions:
-
Mix together yeast, sugar and water into a large bowl and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes until the mixture gets foamy.
-
Add flour into a bowl and add in kosher salt, Watkins Rosemary, Thyme, and Garlic Powder, and mix.
-
Add dry mixture into the wet mixture and mix together until the flour is hydrated and a shaggy dough forms.
-
Pour 2 tbsp. of olive oil over the dough and turn to coat the dough. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise until it has doubled in size (about 2 hours at room temperature).
-
Line and generously grease an 8x8-inch baking pan with olive oil. Deflate the dough and transfer it to the prepared pan. Let rise until it has filled the pan.
-
Heat oven to 450°F with the rack in the middle.
-
Just before baking, drizzle the dough with olive oil and with oiled hands dimple the dough. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt, Watkins Rosemary, and Watkins Thyme and bake until it's deep golden in colour, about 35 minutes.
