Hot Chocolate Lace Cookies

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp Watkins Baking Vanilla
  • ¼ cup flour
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (for dipping or drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Melt the Butter In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until fully liquid.
  2. Build the Base Add brown sugar and milk. Whisk until the mixture becomes smooth and slightly glossy.
  3. Add Cocoa Stir in the cocoa powder until fully incorporated.
  4. Flavor It Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in Watkins Baking Vanilla.
  5. Finish the Batter Add the flour and whisk until the batter is glossy and pourable.
  6. Form the Cookies Spoon small, evenly spaced circles of batter onto a parchment-lined baking sheet — they’ll spread as they bake.
  7. Bake Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 6–8 minutes, until cookies are thin, golden, and lacy around the edges. Let cool completely on the pan.
  8. Add Chocolate Melt the chocolate chips until smooth. Dip or drizzle over the cooled cookies.
  9. Serve.

Tip: Stack a few cookies on a plate next to a mug of hot chocolate for a cozy finishing touch.
