Ingredients
-
¼ cup butter
-
½ cup brown sugar
-
2 tbsp milk
-
1 tbsp cocoa powder
-
½ tsp Watkins Baking Vanilla
-
¼ cup flour
-
½ cup chocolate chips (for dipping or drizzling)
Instructions
-
Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until fully liquid. -
Build the Base
Add brown sugar and milk. Whisk until the mixture becomes smooth and slightly glossy. -
Add Cocoa
Stir in the cocoa powder until fully incorporated. -
Flavor It
Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in Watkins Baking Vanilla. -
Finish the Batter
Add the flour and whisk until the batter is glossy and pourable. -
Form the Cookies
Spoon small, evenly spaced circles of batter onto a parchment-lined baking sheet — they’ll spread as they bake. -
Bake
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 6–8 minutes, until cookies are thin, golden, and lacy around the edges. Let cool completely on the pan. -
Add Chocolate
Melt the chocolate chips until smooth. Dip or drizzle over the cooled cookies. -
Serve.
Tip: Stack a few cookies on a plate next to a mug of hot chocolate for a cozy finishing touch.
