Ingredients

½ cup water

2 tbsp maple syrup

1 tsp Watkins Thyme (or 1 sprig if using whole)

¼ tsp Watkins Ground Cinnamon

⅛ tsp Watkins Ground Ginger

1–2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

½ cup orange juice
-
½ cup ginger ale

Ice

Extra thyme + orange slices for garnish
Instructions

Make the Spiced Syrup
Pour water into a small saucepan and add maple syrup, Watkins Thyme, and Watkins Ground Cinnamon.
Bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally, and let the mixture steam and infuse. -
Steep & Cool
After simmering for a minute or two, remove from heat. Let it steep for a few minutes, then cool slightly. -
Strain & Build the Base
Strain the thyme syrup into a shaker or mason jar filled halfway with ice.
Add Watkins Ground Ginger and squeeze in the fresh lemon juice. -
Shake
Seal the shaker and shake for about 10 seconds until chilled and lightly frothy. -
Assemble
Fill serving glasses with ice.
Strain the spiced mixture evenly into each glass. -
Top & Combine
Pour in orange juice and ginger ale in equal parts.
Stir gently to combine. -
Garnish & Serve
Finish with a sprig of thyme and a fresh orange slice.
Serve immediately—bright citrus, warm spice, and a wintery herbal note in every sip.
