Fish Tacos


1 tbsp/15 mL oil

3 tbsp/45 mL lime juice

3/4 tsp/4 mL Watkins Garlic Powder

3/4 tsp/4 mL Watkins Ground Cumin

1/2 tsp/2.5 mL Watkins Chili Powder

1/4 tsp/2.5 mL Watkins Oregano

1/4 tsp/1.2 mL ground Watkins Coarse Sea Salt

Dash (or to taste) Watkins Red Pepper

1 pound/454 g tilapia, cod or halibut fillets

1 package tortillas


Chopped lettuce, tomatoes and onions

Grated Queso Fresco (Mexican cheese) or Feta cheese


Combine spices in a small bowl. Rub both sides of fish with spice mixture; drizzle on lime juice. Allow fish to marinate for at least 30 minutes. While fish is marinating, prepare all the necessary toppings and set aside. Fry fish in oil over medium heat. Cook until fish is cooked through and tender, about 3 to 5 minutes per side.
